Holding your Ceremony At The Barn

There are few different options available when it comes to your wedding ceremony. Some couples get married in a church, & then on to us for their wedding celebrations, however nowadays, more couples prefer to opt for having the ceremony here with us at The Barn instead, Where you can have the full day in one venue. see our pricing information bellow. What's more there's we don't charge any extra for peak season dates!

Including a Ceremony into your full day & barn only packages with us for £495

Planning on having the full day with us couldn't be simpler, with addition of your ceremony here with us at The Barn.

From start to finish our experienced Wedding & Event's planner will walk you through the options we have available here in order to create the perfect ceremony space for you & your guests. 

Outside or indoors you will be able to take full advantage of the beauty that is The Barn at Higher Beardon.​

Your aisle will be created using chairs with leading edge rows on both sides, adorned with sashes of your colour choice. 

For the main focal point of your isle you can chose between, our 6ft high beautifully decorated hoop as your backdrop, or our large milk churns, perfectly arranged with neutral toned silk floral arrangements framing your walk way on both sides. 

Also included, is use of the lawn & granite love circle, a perfect place for photos and for you and your guests to enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings here at The Barn.

Rain or shine your ceremony here with us will transport you and your guests alike. From inside the barn with it's all inclusive decorative lighting & floral displays, to outside with the full the natural beauty of our location on display, our expert and friendly team will be on hand to ensure you have the ceremony of your dreams.

What's more you can even add drinks & canapes by arrangement too.

Is the barn licensed for civil ceremonies?

Currently no, but we have scope for this to change in the coming years, so keep your eyes peeled.

 

So what do you do now?

You will have to get in touch with your local registry office, to give notice of your intention to marry. Normally this is around 29 days for the notice period. after which you, your fiancé & two witnesses' will attend the Registry office to do the legal paper work. Costing for this is provided via the Registry office. The perfect time for this is normally the week proceeding the wedding, then you are all set for your wedding day ceremony & celebrations here with us at The Barn.

 

Your Ceremony with us on your wedding day

You then get to have your wedding day here at The Barn, surrounded by all your family, friends, and loved ones. Your formal ceremony can either take place on the lawn area, by our stone circle along with our circular hoop/ arch, where our stunning views provide the perfect back drop for your ceremony. Then it is on to the rest of your wedding day celebrations, in our enchanting venue & grounds, where you and your guests can in enjoy all that The Barn has to offer.

 

What happens if the weather is bad?

Well that is the beauty of our venue, Should the weather become less that desirable you can take full advantage of The Barn, and all that it has to offer. Our raised area is the perfect space to create your very own bespoke indoor aisle & seating area for your guests.

Or for those conscious of the weather or wishing for a larger wedding celebrations we recommend the added hire of stretched tents south west, added in addition to your hire of the barn.

Framing the barn while still in-keeping with it's beautiful surroundings, this fully versatile addition offers you complete peace of mind, for both wind & rain, should the British inclement weather prevail. So you can relax knowing you still have the same beautiful venue without loosing out on the views.
